La Patasola Nature Reserve: Biodiversity and Conservation in the Forests of Salento

Located in the mountains of Salento, La Patasola Nature Reserve is an area dedicated to conserving Andean forest and protecting the biodiversity of northern Quindío.

Distance and duration depend on the access point and selected trail. A visit may require between four and eight hours, particularly when it includes travel from Boquía or specialized birdwatching activities.

Independent entry is not recommended. Certain routes cross rural properties, have limited signage, and may change considerably during the rainy season.
