By registering or managing a tourism place on Quindío es Mío, you accept these terms, which are additional and complementary to the general terms of use and the privacy policy. In this document, “partner” means the person or company that registers, represents or manages a tourism place.
1. Registration and verification
Registration is subject to validation by AlfamediaWEB. We reserve the right to approve, reject or suspend any application that does not meet our quality or accuracy criteria. Approval is not subject to a guaranteed timeframe.
2. Responsibility for published information
The partner is solely responsible for all information associated with their place: name, description, categories, location, photographs, prices, opening times, contact details, activities, events and any reply they publish. That responsibility extends to every subsequent edit.
The partner undertakes to keep that information truthful, current and complete, and to correct it without delay when it ceases to be so. AlfamediaWEB does not verify, validate or guarantee the accuracy of that content, and is not liable for any harm arising from outdated, incomplete or incorrect information.
3. Rights over images and materials
The partner declares that they own the rights to all graphic and textual material they publish, or hold express authorisation to use it, and that they have the consent of any identifiable people appearing in the photographs. AlfamediaWEB is not liable for the improper use of content protected by copyright or image rights.
4. Events and activities
Whoever publishes an event or activity is fully responsible for holding it, for any permits it requires, for safety conditions, capacity, announced prices and any change or cancellation, as well as for communicating these in good time.
Publication on the platform does not make AlfamediaWEB an organiser, sponsor, intermediary or guarantor of that event or activity, nor does it imply any endorsement of its quality or safety.
5. Replies to reviews and treatment of visitors
Partners may reply to visitor reviews, maintaining respectful and professional treatment. It is prohibited to disclose third parties' personal data, to threaten, disparage or harass, or to reply with offensive or discriminatory language.
It is likewise prohibited to publish, request, incentivise or pay for false reviews, whether their own or third parties', as well as any practice aimed at manipulating ratings.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Publishing false or misleading information about the place, its services or its prices.
- Announcing promotions, discounts or conditions that are later not honoured.
- Impersonating another person, company or entity, or registering a place without authorisation to represent it.
- Using the platform to send bulk messages, spam or unauthorised promotions.
- Collecting visitor data outside the platform, or using it for purposes other than the enquiry received.
- Using the Quindío es Mío brand, logo or content without express authorisation.
7. No guarantee of results
Registering and publishing a place does not guarantee visibility, number of visits, position in listings, editorial appearances, bookings, enquiries or sales. Editorial curation — recommendations, hidden gems and routes — is decided by the team on its own criteria and is not for sale. Any sponsored content is visibly identified as such.
8. Relationship with the visitor
Any booking, payment, service or transaction takes place directly between the visitor and the partner. AlfamediaWEB is not a party to that relationship, does not intervene in it, and is not liable for its fulfilment, for the quality of the service provided, or for any damage or loss arising from the visit, the activity or the use of the premises.
9. Disclaimer
The platform is provided “as is” and subject to availability. AlfamediaWEB is not liable for interruptions, errors, temporary unavailability, loss of information, or for decisions taken by anyone on the basis of information published by partners. The information shown is indicative and should be confirmed directly with each place.
10. Indemnity
The partner shall hold AlfamediaWEB, its team and its collaborators harmless from any third-party claim, penalty, cost or loss arising from the content they published, from their activity, or from a breach of these terms.
11. Moderation, suspension and removal
AlfamediaWEB may edit, unpublish or remove any content, and suspend or delete a partner's account, without prior notice, where it detects false information, inappropriate content, a breach of these terms, repeated complaints, or any use that harms visitors or the platform.
12. Use of partner data
Registered data will be used exclusively for managing the place, communication and internal validation. It will not be shared with third parties without express authorisation, except where legally required. Partners must handle any visitor personal data they receive in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
13. Commercial communications from AlfamediaWEB
By registering a place, the partner authorises AlfamediaWEB to contact them at the details they registered in order to send information and commercial proposals about its own products and services where these are relevant to their business — for example, building or improving their website, digital presence or photographic material.
These communications always come from AlfamediaWEB: partner data is never transferred or sold to third parties for their advertising. Partners may unsubscribe at any time by writing to preguntanos@alfamediaweb.com; unsubscribing does not affect the publication of their place or the communications needed to manage it.
14. Promotion on official channels
AlfamediaWEB may promote tourism places on its official channels — website, social media and app — for informational purposes, correctly attributing the authorship of the content.
15. Term, modifications and governing law
These terms may be modified at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of those changes; partners may request the removal of their place if they do not agree. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.
