Quindío es Mío is a mobile app and a website developed by AlfamediaWEB to promote tourism in the department of Quindío. By using the app or the website, you accept the following terms:
1. Appropriate use of the app and the site
Users undertake to use them responsibly and respectfully. Publishing offensive, discriminatory, false or unlawful content is prohibited. Automated use, content scraping and intentional overloading of the system are also prohibited.
2. Comments and ratings
Users may leave opinions, ratings and suggestions about tourism places. Respectful language is required. AlfamediaWEB may moderate and remove offensive, false or abusive comments.
3. Content and responsibilities
The information for each tourism place — description, photographs, contact details, prices, opening times and activities — is provided and maintained by its owner or partner, so it may not be up to date at all times. AlfamediaWEB is not responsible for the accuracy, currency or quality of that content, and recommends confirming directly with the place any detail your visit depends on.
Published routes are editorial journeys prepared by the team, with their stops in a suggested order: they are not a navigation system and do not replace a maps application, and the distances shown are indicative.
Anyone who registers or manages a tourism place also accepts the terms and conditions for owners, which set out their responsibility for the information published.
4. Privacy and personal data
We store data such as name, email address, profile picture, saved places, places marked as visited, private My trip itineraries and any reviews you publish. The profile picture must be appropriate and inoffensive. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without authorisation, except where legally required. 5. Private user content
My trip itineraries, saved places and places marked as visited are private: they are linked to the account that created them, they are not published or shown to other users, and they are deleted along with the account.
6. Communications and notifications
Users authorise the receipt of emails or push notifications for informational or promotional purposes related exclusively to the content of the app: new places, activities, events, updates and relevant features.
7. Use by minors
The app may be used by anyone. Adult supervision is recommended in the case of minors.
8. Copyright
The content and design of the platform are the property of AlfamediaWEB or of their respective owners. Reproduction or modification without express authorisation is prohibited.
9. User-generated content
By uploading comments or images, users grant AlfamediaWEB a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content in the app and on the website. Users declare that they hold the rights to what they publish.
10. Suspension and cancellation of accounts
AlfamediaWEB may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, affect other users or disrupt the proper use of the app. Users may request the deletion of their account and data at any time.
11. Modifications
These terms may change at any time. Continued use of the app or the website implies acceptance of those changes.
