An Experience Filled With Quindío’s Identity

Interactive characters, traditional dances, and humorous stories turn each station into an opportunity to learn and share. The park introduces visitors to the expressions, customs, and ways of speaking that remain alive in Quindío’s rural communities.

Its experiences include a traditional muleteer’s inn, theatrical performances, festive music, activities related to coffee and sugarcane, photography areas, and settings inspired by traditional regional architecture.

Coffee, Countryside, and Traditions

During the tour, visitors encounter representative symbols of the region, including pack mules, traditional Willys Jeeps, roadside inns, local handicrafts, and the customs of coffee-growing families.

Rather than simply displaying old objects, the park explains how muleteering made it possible to transport coffee, food, and merchandise through the mountains before modern roads were built.

A Family Experience

The park offers activities for children and adults, including cultural performances, traditional games, interactive characters, and spaces where history is presented in an entertaining way.

Los Arrieros Park is located at kilometer 3 on the Montenegro–Quimbaya road, in the Santana rural area.

Visitors can arrive by private vehicle, taxi, or tourist transportation from Armenia, Montenegro, Quimbaya, and nearby municipalities. When using public transportation, confirm the appropriate drop-off point and the local connection required to reach the entrance.

Local Cuisine

The park offers dishes inspired by the traditional cuisine of Colombia’s Coffee Region, including the muleteer’s packed lunch, countryside chicken soup, beans, bandeja paisa, meats, fried fish, and plantain.
